Illinois Prairie Community Foundation offers grant opportunities to area non-profit organizations providing community services in a wide variety of areas including arts and culture, human services, environment, education, and health and wellness. These discretionary grants are made possible by gifts from fund holders and donors to the community foundation.
Grants awarded generally range from $500 to $5000.
The invitation to apply for an Illinois Prairie grant is open to all organizations with tax-exempt status under Section 501 (c) 3 of the Internal Revenue Code, those that operate under a fiscal agent that is a 501 (c) 3 organization, and to local units of local, county, state or federal government. Please review the 2013 Grants Timeline for applicable deadlines.
